It not often that I am am stuck for words. but I am speechless about how kind and generous everyone have been, even people I have not seen for ages and even friends of friends.

This now makes me more determined to make sure I complete this trek well.

I have had my 10 week check up with my diabetes nurse and as my HbA1c(blood sugars) had changed very little this time, I am trying no tablets for 8 weeks. which is great but I am also alittle scared at the same time.

Well in 6 months time I will be on my way to China today.Hm Hm , can't wait ..

First post, not sure what to write....um um.
I may take awhile to get used to this but hopefully will gat better in time and practise.

The main reason for me have this blog is to keep everyone up to date with preparation of my charity trek along the Great wall of china next March. Only 6months 3wks to go...Oh

Now I need to get the grey matter into gear and come up with lots of fundraising ideas. Any thoughts are most welcome, with in reason.
But as you can see I have set up a justgiving site for any donations.
